‘Thinking Freely about Europe’

31 December 1993

Thinking Freely about Europe is a group founded on humanist principles in 1993  to defend secularism, freedom of thought and tolerance. It was given  official recognition as a Cultural Circle of the European Commission in  1996 as being principally designed for officials of the several EU  institutions.  It organises monthly lunchtime meetings in Brussels.  The EHF helped with its formation and still has a link with it. The group’s own website is in French.
