OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting 2006

Three EHF representatives (Vera Pegna, Suzy Mommaerts and David Pollock) took an active part in the Human Dimension Implementation Meeting from October 2-13 in Warsaw. We made two interventions in plenary sessions, drawing attention to the failure to give non-believers equal rights even in states that otherwise had good records on human rights and equality. Submission on Proposed EU Year of Intercultural Dialogue

This submission of 26 October 2006 was in response to a consultation paper from the EU Commission.  In the event funding arrangements for the Year were such that it was impossible for EHF to take part. The European Humanist Federation (EHF) wishes to propose a European-scale initiative that could contribute towards promoting intercultural dialogue.
