Humanism&Secularism

Humanism

Humanism is an ethical worldview -not just an atheist or agnostic one – deeply committed to human rights, with a wide range of beliefs.

Secularism

Secularism is the belief that, especially in multi-belief societies, the state and its official institutions should be neutral on the question of religion or belief.

National diversity

Different countries in Europe have different histories, different institutions, different assumptions. The outlook and beliefs of non-religious people are naturally subject to these variations.

Numbers matter

The number of people holding no-religious beliefs is growing in Europe.
